By the help of this circular we want to introduce our artists residence The Kuenstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral to you and to win you to work together with us. The K=FCnstlerhaus Schlo=DF Balmoral is an institution for scholarships in the Fine arts of the Land Rheinland-Pfalz and the body responsible is the "Stiftung Rheinland-Pfalz f=FCr Kultur". It was founded in 1995 to support artists and theorists of the Fine Arts from all over the world and of any age. For this purpose The K=FCnstlerhaus Schlo=DF Balmoral grants eight scholarships each year. The scholarship holders are selected by an expert jury out of the competitors. The scholarship holders live here for eleven months in their own appartements and studios and draw a sholarship of 2000 DM per month. Further they have the opportunity to use the workshops we provide as photographic laboratory and wood-workshop, the library and PC's with internet account. As an artist you can apply for such a scholarship for the year 2001 (starts= january, 15th and ends december, 15th) by AUGUST, 22ND 2000. Trustees, gallery owners and colleagues - freelance and at public institutions - have the oportunity to point out our scholarship to artists they represent and act for and who would like to work in composure and free of financial burdens.
