Jodi lives her life on her own terms. Art

passion is beginning to pay off with sales. She

lives on the outskirts of

the small town of Artville in a home with no

electricity, and no

neighbors. Being alone is one of her terms. Her

mother and father abandoned

her long ago for their own selfish desires, and

the two people she truly

loved are dead. She has built a life where she

depends on no one and is free

from the weight and responsibility of love.


Jodi has a problem, though. Actually, she

has several. She is

being courted by a very nice, handsome man that

she just can't seem to fall

for. An abusive ex-boyfriend might be back in

town. Her car just got totaled.

She has a nasty cut on her head, and she is

attracted to her doctor that has his

own dark secrets. To top it all off, one of these

people might be trying to

kill her.



The universe wants to play. Those who refuse out of dry spiritual greed
and choose pure contemplation forfeit their humanity -- those who refuse
out of dull anguish, those who hesitate, lose their chance at divinity --
those who mold themselves blind masks of Ideas and thrash around seeking
some proof of their own solidity end by seeing out of a dead person's
eyes.
