the convergent media area of the department of radio-television-film 
at ut austin is seeking an individual for the position of lecturer to 
teach a foundations course in convergent media for the spring, 2002 
semester.  this course would introduce students to work done in the 
convergent media world and would require them to respond to ideas, 
theories and examples with projects of their own.  learning basic 
software and networking skills would be a part of this course, but a 
part aimed at helping students realize and complete their projects.
