Just as "professional sports" has sucked the communal value

from local leagues and the game-itself, so too have

"professional artists," "professional critics/curators" and

"professional artworld spectacles" debased the

transformative power of what used to be understood as Art --

every instance of its failure being quickly and routinely

shrouded in institutional rhetoric so that the incestuous,

impotent charade may continue.
