[Nettime-bold] totalitarianism in cyberspace? |
Just thinking about the use of the word cyberfascim or fascism I do not use it gladly at all/ I agree to some extent it is the best word, but fascism is not just right wing. I have seen various types of alternatives, leftists, protesters and anarchists being nothing but fascists in their own way, imposing sometimes violently their own views and silencing all others with their noise This is why I prefer to find alternative more neutral words as a conviced antifascist I do not take bullshit t from either side, if I can avoid it It is becoming clear that the internet is brining people and information together in real time, and do occasionally fear that forces opposed to change may try to take that away, but that shall not happen I dont think yes, something is happening in Italy, but it's the big picture that we have to keep in mind thanks for all the postings about access monitoring in eu and spain and india will write about it at some stage too pdm ================================== Paola Di Maio www.content-wire.com ================================= At home in the content universe Your news are our news _______________________________________________ Nettime-bold mailing list Nettime-bold@nettime.org http://www.nettime.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nettime-bold
